A leading private healthcare facility in Oudtshoorn is seeking an experienced Senior Professional Nurse Midwifery to join its maternity team.
Requirements:
- Registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
- Relevant nursing qualification.
- Previous experience in a maternity/labour ward environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience will be advantageous.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality midwifery and nursing care throughout the maternity journey.
- Provide leadership and support to the maternity nursing team.
- Ensure compliance with SANC regulations, hospital policies, and quality standards.
- Promote patient safety and positive clinical outcomes.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior nursing staff.
